This is a Chapter 381 Economic Development Incentive Agreement between Hays County and H-E-B for construction of a new H-E-B store and related site improvements in Buda. The County will provide property and sales tax incentives up to $4,000,000 over 30 years to offset H-E-B's estimated $30,000,000 remediation costs for environmental concerns on the new site. The project includes a 100,000+ square foot store, creation of 50+ full-time jobs, and roadway improvements at Old San Antonio Road and Main Street.
